All new motorcycle tires from any of the major manufacturers will be good in the wet/dry. Any recommendations of one tire over another is basically just personal preference. In other words all your choices are good choices.

I can t even get a phone number for Continental Corporate Headquarters in the USA! All I get is a German number- Very frustrating! Quick 10 points if you help me locate one! Thanks! I m trying to get the set for this weekend

    • The reason you re getting a German address for Continental Tires Corporate HQ is because Continental Tires is a German company. While they do manufacture some automobile tires here in the States, all of their motorcycle tires are manufactured in Germany, and there are no exclusive factory dealers here in the USA. If you re trying to work on a warranty claim or similar problem, then you ll have to deal with the Germans. If you re looking to buy Continental tires for your motorcycle, then you can probably order them from your local motorcycle dealer s parts shop, or you could buy them online from …

  • Avatar Ian W When should I replace my front motorcycle tire?

I have a Triumph Street Triple with Continental Sport Attack tires. I have about 8 miles on them and the rear tire is definitely done, but the front still looks to be in pretty good shape. What s the rule of thumb on replacing the front? I ve read that you can get up to double the number of miles on a front tire, but that might just be on a cruiser.

    • I never changed a front tire due to wear until I got this tank of an HD. Previous reasons to change: age, weather-cracking, matching to the new choice of rear tire. If you ve got 1/2 tread or more there s no reason to swap it other than if you feel like it.
