A google search for motorcycle tires and you'll get a gaggle of sites that will do mail order for cheap and help you figure out what tires are good for your bike. I'd do that before running straight to the dealer. As far as balancing goes, yes they do, but you need to ask yourself the question whether or not it's really worth it. If you plan on running hardcore track days on a performance machine, yeah, I'd say it's worth it. Since your on a cruiser and, I'm assuming here, you probably won't be "pushing the envelope" I wouldn't worry too much about balancing. I'd be much more interested in whether or not my rims were true

I am looking for inexpensive tires to fit a 1987 Kawasaki kz305 motorcycle and I want to find the cheapest good quality tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Well, you have a computer, so obviously you have access to the internet. Try doing a websearch for "discount motorcycle tires" or something simular. You will get a few pages back. Take your pick, all the ones I have tried are reputable.

I have a 1981 Suzuki GS750E and it is time for new tires. Right now it has a 100/90-19 on the front and a 120/90-18 on the rear. I would like to keep the front the same size, but if I could get the rear in a 130/90-18, then that would be great. Thanks
Are you going to replace the tires yourself? No? Better find a place to do the tire swap then, Lots of them absolutely will NOT put on a mail-order tire. Others charge an arm and a leg (more than if you just bought the tire from them). Some are cool with it and will put on whatever you bring. Make sure you know Before buying tires online. But I tend to just google the tire I m looking for and use the "shopping" tab on the left to sort by price. You just need to know what tire you want cruiser/hard/long lasting, Sporty/soft/sticky/short life, something in between, dual-sport …
